Corrosion Resistance
It resist rusting form all
atmospheric sources and is recommended for use in connection with foodstuff,
sterilizing solutions, most of organic chemicals and dyestuff. For best
results it is recommended that the surface of parts is polished and free from
scale or foreign particles. This is accomplished with passivation.

Heat Treatment
For high corrosion resistance and low
magnetism, there may be an annealing procedure necessary. This annealing
is only useful after a strong cold working which raised the mechanical
resistance.
Annealing: Heat to 1010-1120ºC
(1850-2050 F) and water quench.
Hardening: Cannot be hardened by heat
treatment.
