Corrosion Resistance
It resists rusting, from all
atmospheric sources and is recommended for use in connection with foodstuff,
sterilizing, most of organic chemicals and dyestuff. For best results it
is recommended that the surface of parts is polished and free from scale,
foreign particles. This is accomplished with passivating.

Heat Treatment
For high corrosion resistance and low
magnetism, there may be an annealing procedure necessary. This annealing
is only useful after a strong cold working which raised the mechanical resistant
Annealing: Heat to 1010-1120ºC
(1850-2050ºF)
Hardening: Cannot be hardened by heat
treatment
